n/aThe Bangkok taxi tariff begins with a base fare of ฿40.00. This starting fare covers the first 1.00 kilometer of your journey. As your trip continues beyond this distance, the fare increases based on the total kilometers traveled.
For the next 9 kilometers after the base distance, the fare is ฿6.50 per kilometer. After this, the following 10 kilometers are charged at ฿7.00 per kilometer. The next 10 kilometers after that are priced at ฿8.00 per kilometer. For the subsequent 10 kilometers, the cost rises to ฿8.50 per kilometer. If you travel even further, each additional kilometer beyond these is charged at ฿9.00 per kilometer.
The tariff also includes a waiting time fee.
If the taxi is stopped or moving very slowly, such as in heavy traffic, there is an additional fee of ฿180.00 per hour for waiting time.
In some cases, there are premium charges. For journeys that start or end at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), the fare includes an extra airport surcharge of ฿50.00.
