The taxi tariff for Mittelsachsen sets out clear rules for how taxi fares are calculated. The tariff is different depending on the time and day of your journey. From Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, the daytime rates apply. At night, from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, as well as all day on Sundays, the nighttime rates apply.

For all trips during the day, the fare starts with a base charge of €4.00. The first 3 kilometers are charged at €3.00 per kilometer. Any distance beyond the first 3 kilometers is charged at €2.50 per kilometer. If your journey involves waiting time, this is charged at €38.00 per hour.

At night-time and on Sundays, the base fare is €5.50. The pricing per kilometer remains the same as the daytime tariff: €3.00 for each of the first 3 kilometers, and €2.50 per kilometer for any additional distance. The waiting time rate stays at €38.00 per hour.

There are also a few additional charges under the Mittelsachsen taxi tariff. If you order your taxi through a radio service, there is a €0.50 extra charge. If you carry bulky items, such as bicycles, a single extra charge of €2.50 applies per journey.
