The taxi tariff of Bratislava sets out clear and simple rules for passengers on how fares are calculated. When you start a taxi journey, you pay a base fare of €10.00. This base fare includes the first 4.67 kilometers of your ride.

If your journey is longer than 4.67 kilometers, each additional kilometer is charged at €1.50. For example, if you travel 7 kilometers in total, your fare will include the base fare plus the cost for the extra distance after 4.67 kilometers.

If the taxi needs to wait for you during the trip, there is a waiting time charge of €30.00 for each hour of waiting. Waiting time charges may apply, for example, if the taxi is stopped in traffic or waiting for you at your request.
