n/aThe taxi tariff of Frankfurt am Main sets out how passengers are charged for taxi rides. Every trip starts with a base fare of €4.00. This is a one-time fee added to the cost of your journey as soon as you enter the taxi.
For the distance you travel, passengers pay €2.40 for each kilometer. This rate applies to the entire trip after the base fare. If your taxi ride involves waiting time, such as being stationary in traffic or at a stop, an additional charge of €38.00 per hour will be added to the fare, calculated according to the actual waiting time needed.
It is also possible to agree on a fixed price in advance by phone or app. These fixed price offers only include a price per kilometer and do not cover the base fare or charges for waiting time. The agreed price per kilometer must be between €2.40 and €4.00. In case your group has five or more people or requires a larger vehicle, surcharges may apply.
