The Jura taxi tariff sets out clear rules for how taxi rides are charged. The amount you pay depends on the time and day of your journey as well as the distance travelled.

For rides from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, there is a base fare of €8.00. This base fare includes up to 2.43 km of travel. If your journey goes beyond this distance, each additional kilometre will be charged at €2.22 per km. If the taxi has to wait for you, waiting time is charged at €26.89 per hour.

For journeys at night, which covers Monday to Saturday from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am as well as all day on Sunday, the base fare remains at €8.00. However, the base fare during these times only includes up to 1.67 km. For every kilometre beyond this, you will be charged €3.24 per km. Waiting time during the night tariff is charged at €28.71 per hour.

To calculate the fare, begin with the base fare that applies to your time and day. If your journey is longer than the included distance, add the charge for each extra kilometre. If there is waiting time, this is also added to the total. These rules ensure passengers know what to expect when travelling by taxi under the Jura tariff.
