The taxi tariff of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt explains how fares are calculated for taxi journeys in this area. There are two different tariffs depending on the time of day. The day tariff is valid from Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The night tariff applies from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, and for the whole day on Sunday.

At the start of each ride, a base fare is charged. For the day tariff, the base fare is 4.50 €. For the night tariff, the base fare is 4.70 €. After the base fare, the cost per kilometer depends on how far you travel. Under the day tariff, the first 2 kilometers are charged at 5.00 € per kilometer. All amounts are calculated in EUR (€), and the fare shown on the taximeter at the end of the journey reflects the total fare according to these rules.
