n/aThe Stockholm taxi tariff explains how the cost of a taxi trip is calculated in the city. When you begin your taxi ride, a base fare of 59.00 SEK will be charged as soon as you enter the taxi. This base fare is always the same, regardless of the day or time you travel.
After the base fare, your cost increases with the distance you travel. For every kilometer, the fare is 14.90 SEK. This per-kilometer charge applies to all trips, whether you are traveling during the week or on weekends, during the day or at night.
If your taxi needs to wait, such as during traffic or if you ask the driver to stop for a period, there is a waiting time charge. From Monday 6:00 am to Friday 3:00 pm, the waiting fee is 565.00 SEK per hour. From Friday 3:00 pm to Monday 6:00 am, the waiting fee is 595.00 SEK per hour.
These rules make it clear how your total fare is calculated under the Stockholm taxi tariff. The cost consists of the base fare, the distance you travel in the taxi, and any applicable waiting time charges. This allows passengers to understand how their trip cost is determined before and during their journey.
