The taxi tariff for Tianjin explains how taxi fares are calculated for passengers travelling in the city. There are different prices during the day and at night.

During the day, from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, the taxi fare starts with a base fare of ¥11.00. This base fare covers the first 3.00 kilometers of the journey. If a taxi has to wait, for example in heavy traffic or at the passenger's request, there is an extra charge for waiting time. In both day and night periods, the waiting time charge is ¥30.00 per hour.
