At night, from Monday to Saturday between 23:00 and 6:00, and all day on Sundays, the tariff changes. The base fare is €4.30. For the first 5 kilometres, each kilometre costs €1.09. After 5 kilometres, each additional kilometre costs €0.67. The waiting time charge during these hours is €40.20 per hour.
When booking a taxi in advance by phone or app within Vienna, it is possible to agree on a fixed price for the journey before it begins. In this case, the taximeter is not used when the ride starts. Passengers can use this option to know the total price in advance, based on mutual agreement with the taxi service.
